Hey, this was an eye opening piece. I guess its just assumed by just about everyone that people own property and "you should respect others property." Its nice to hear different ideas about property because where do people get off thinking they "own" beach front property or property with natural resources that everyone can use.

Proudhon also has some writings about intellectual property. I remember one essay where he questioned if it was right/fair for someone who invents a moneymaking idea/machine to be one of the few who continuously profit from it and not the builders who make it happen.

Thanks, that song came out of a music project we did in San Francisco some time ago, where people who had never played music before (and didn't know how to use musical instruments) all scheduled a show together -- thus giving everyone specific motivation to learn about music and write songs.
